Operating Conditions
Temperature Range: -40°C to +120°C (dry); -40°C to +80°C (humid or corrosive gas)
Suitable For: Indoor electrical cabinets, light-duty grounding wires, battery connections, auxiliary furnace connections, mobile equipment grounding.
Precautions:
Not recommended for heavy continuous current applications (aluminum has lower ampacity than copper; derating required for same cross section).
Avoid prolonged immersion in strong acids or alkalis.
Maintenance
Regularly inspect for broken strands, loosening, white oxidation (powder), or mechanical damage.
Keep terminals clean; when tightening bolts, apply proper torque (aluminum is soft – avoid over-tightening that may deform the wire).
If terminal corrosion or increased contact resistance is found, clean or replace promptly.
Store in a dry, ventilated place away from moisture and heavy pressure.
Service Life
Under rated load and normal indoor environment (≤80°C), design life ≥8 years.
Outdoor or humid environments: approximately 5 years – regular inspection recommended.
Replace immediately if obvious broken strands, oxidation powder, or loose terminals appear.
