Bridgold In EV Control System

Digital & Modern Factory Overview

Bridgold's new Phase II facility (15,000 m²), commissioned in October 2023, integrates digital management and intelligent production systems, ensuring full traceability, high precision, and consistent quality. This robust capability supports high-volume deliveries of EV control system components.

Deep Experience in EV Control Systems

With over 40 years of expertise in copper busbars and braided wires, we possess in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by EV control systems (inverters, OBC, DC/DC, PDU, etc.)—high-frequency switching noise, limited enclosure space, severe thermal cycling, and road-induced vibration. From material selection and structural design to insulation withstand and temperature-rise validation, we offer customized solutions throughout the entire design cycle, strictly complying with automotive industry standards.

Product Details (Core Functions of Copper Busbars)

Copper busbars deliver three core functions in EV control systems:  High-current transmission  – connecting inverters and drive motors for efficient and stable power transfer;  Equipotential bonding and grounding  – equalizing enclosure and structural potentials while providing safe leakage protection paths;  Absorbing vibration and thermal expansion  – preventing rigid connections from fatigue failure due to temperature changes and shocks.

Laminated Busbars : Low parasitic inductance effectively suppresses IGBT/SiC turn-off overvoltage, protecting power devices; the flat structure significantly reduces enclosure depth and increases power density; custom L/Z shapes fit compact layouts.

Braided Busbars : Ultimate flexibility with an extremely small bending radius, absorbing complex vibrations and displacements between modules; the braided structure distributes stress to resist high-frequency fatigue; the open surface area enhances heat dissipation; high tolerance greatly simplifies assembly.

Rigid Busbars : Manufactured from high-purity T2 copper via rolling or extrusion, offering extremely high current-carrying capacity and strong mechanical rigidity. With a fixed form, they are ideal for main-circuit busing connections, delivering superior cost-effectiveness for standardized mass production.
