Product Details (Core Functions of Copper Busbars)
Copper busbars deliver three core functions in hydrogen energy storage systems:
High-current transmission – connecting electrolyzers, fuel cells, and converter equipment for efficient power-to-hydrogen and hydrogen-to-power conversion;
Equipotential bonding and grounding – equalizing enclosure and structural potentials while providing safe protection paths;
Absorbing vibration and thermal expansion – preventing rigid connections from fatigue failure due to temperature changes and external shocks.
Laminated Busbars : Low parasitic inductance effectively suppresses switching overvoltage, protecting power devices; the flat structure saves cabinet space and increases power density; custom L/Z shapes fit compact layouts.
Braided Busbars : Ultimate flexibility with an extremely small bending radius, absorbing equipment vibration and thermal expansion displacement; the braided structure distributes stress to resist high-frequency fatigue; open surface enhances heat dissipation; high tolerance simplifies on-site assembly.
Rigid Busbars : Manufactured from high-purity T2 copper via rolling or extrusion, offering extremely high current-carrying capacity and strong mechanical rigidity. With a fixed form, they are ideal for main-circuit busing and distribution connections, delivering superior cost-effectiveness for standardized mass production.
