Advantages
High Breaking Load: Manufactured with larger single wire diameters (1.70–2.85mm), providing significantly higher breaking load than fine-strand wires. Fully compliant with TB/T3111-2005, suitable for electrified railway catenary messenger wires, droppers, and long-span overhead lines.
High Tensile Strength: Hard-drawing process ensures mechanical strength meeting strict railway standards.
Excellent Conductivity: Copper content ≥99.95% ensures conductivity ≥97% IACS, reducing line losses.
Corrosion Resistance Option: Tin-plated finish resists sulfurization and humid corrosion, extending service life.
Customizable: Cross section, single wire diameter, plating, and packing can be tailored to customer needs.
Operating Conditions
Temperature range: –40°C to +90°C (tin-plated)
Typical Applications: Electrified railway catenary systems, overhead transmission lines, substation busbars, grounding grids, high-current industrial connections, electric furnace and switchgear leads.
Precautions: Avoid direct burial in strong acid/alkali soil or prolonged water immersion for bare copper; tin-plated type withstands mildly corrosive environments.
Standard Compliance: Meets all mechanical and electrical requirements of TB/T3111-2005.
Maintenance
• Regularly inspect for oxidation, broken strands, or mechanical damage, especially at termination points.
• For outdoor or railway use, perform cleaning and tightening checks every 12 months.
• Avoid scratching tin coating; apply anti-oxidation grease on bare copper if needed.
• Store in dry, ventilated warehouse away from acids, alkalis, salts, and damp floors.
