Rigid Copper Busbar Insulated with Polyimide Film

High conductivity copper:  C11000/C10100 with ≥98% IACS.

Ultra-thin PI film insulation:  Thickness only 0.05–0.125mm (customizable), much thinner than dip or extrusion coating, adding almost no extra dimension.

Laminated installation ready:  Smooth PI surface allows direct stacking of multiple busbars without additional spacers – significant space saving, ideal for multi-layer busbar assemblies and battery module stacking.

Excellent temperature range: Operating from -70℃ to +260℃, far exceeding PVC, PA12, etc. Suitable for high-temperature environments (motor connections, high-power charging).

Superior electrical performance:  Dielectric strength typically >150kV/mm (film state). A single 0.05mm layer withstands >7500V. UL94 V-0 flame rating.

Chemical & radiation resistance: Resists acids, oils, organic solvents, as well as gamma rays and electron beam irradiation – ideal for aerospace and nuclear applications.

Lightweight & flexible: Suitable for dynamic connections requiring bending or vibration.

Temperature range: -70℃ to +260℃ (PI film)

Relative humidity: ≤95% non-condensing

Applications: EV battery packs, aerospace power, high-temperature industrial equipment, precision electronics, nuclear industry, etc.

Flame rating: UL94 V-0

Dielectric strength: With single-layer thickness 0.05-0.125mm, withstand voltage 7500V-18000V (AC/DC for 1 minute). Higher for multi-layer stacking. Reports available upon request.

Inspect PI film surface for scratches, peeling, or damage every 6 months.

Clean with dry soft cloth or anhydrous alcohol; avoid strong acids/alkalis.

Prevent sharp objects from scratching the film-mechanical damage reduces insulation.

Store in dry, dark environment for long-term preservation.

Designed service life ≥15–20 years (depending on mechanical wear and thermal cycling). PI film itself rarely ages, but sharp burrs on copper edges must be removed to avoid piercing the film.
